Rethinking Organization


I used to think organization meant keeping all the same items in the same place and the container was most likely labeled. Now I believe that organization/time management means keeping something where you are going to use it. Let’s take scissors for example:

Pushing Through Perfectionism


I am a recovering perfectionist. As a child, I would rip up paper after paper, if the handwriting wasn’t just right. I got straight A’s all through jr. high, high school, and college until my 3rd year, second semester, when I took 18 Science credits.

Thinking of You


One of my favorite texts to send is “Thinking of You” accompanied by a picture from my camera phone. But not “Thinking of You” in a sweet, reflective way, but in a haha! in your face kind of way (all in good fun of course). I guess I love the sentimental mixed with the sarcastic. State of the Car


Getting home from a road trip can be rough. Besides unpacking, laundry, getting back on schedule, and going through stacks of mail, there is the state of the car. And our car is usually always a disaster zone after trips (despite the fact that we do a mini clean up at every gas stop.)
