Lately, I have been on an after-school snack kick. When the kids get home from school, they wash their hands, come to the bar and I serve the same snack to everyone at the same time. But this post isn’t as much about what I serve for after-school snack, but rather why I serve after-school snack.

Chad was out of town for a couple of weekends in January and I couldn’t face rounding up the 4 kids by myself to go do a big service project. Plus I felt like my house was its own service project. So we opted for a different kind of Service Saturday in January.
I am really enjoying my new neighborhood and ward. And perhaps my favorite thing so far is the babysitting co-op they have in place. This idea is genius. And it is thrifty. Here is how our babysitting co-op works:
