Caged


We planted 8 tomato plants this year, but we only had 7 cages. So one tomato plant was left on its own to grow without a cage.

One-on-One


Family activities are overrated. Or at least that is what Thomas Phelan, Ph.D. said in his book “1-2-3 Magic”. At first I was surprised at his statement, and then as I read his reasons I began to agree with him.

Pumpkin Poop


So I saw this darling idea at my local party store, Pioneer Party, and it didn’t involve candy so I was immediately interested. I asked them if I could just buy the tags and they said no. I was left to take matters into mine own hands. I contacted my friend, Kelsie, at Love, Kelsie Rae and we got to work.

A Real Family Night

D Week


D week has kind of been a downer. The weather has been dreary and I’ve temporarily lost the drive. Plus Croft was sick for part of the week. But life must go on, and like I said earlier some letter weeks are better than others.

Halloween Scrapbook


I am willing to bet that many of you have tons of photos on your computer that ain’t never going to see the light of day. I am the same way. And since I’ve long given up the dream of trying to scrapbook all of my kids’ lives, I came up with a more realistic project for myself. I am just going to do small theme based projects instead.
