After my successful Rainbow Fruit Kabobs for St. Patty’s day, I decided to experiment with Red-White & Blue fruit kabobs for the 4th of July! These would be a healthy, fun treat at any 4th of July festivity.
I did raspberries and strawberries for red, bananas and marshmallows for white and blueberries and blackberries for blue. I put each fruit in its own bowl to facilitate assembly (and because it looked so cute.)
We used just regular bamboo skewers and my kids had a blast assembling their own kabobs. They played with colors, patterns, and fruits. Crew discovered he liked blueberries and they all asked for seconds. Based on the amount of fruit eaten, I considered the activity a success.
