Several years ago my neighbor and I had an awkward conversation. I was asked to do a job at church that she had just had. When thinking about who would replace her she said to me, “I didn’t want it to be you. Anybody but you.” And then she told me that her husband made her feel better by telling her, “Tiffany has all that family support that is why she can do so much. She has her mom.”

My husband eats lunch out almost every day, and I couldn’t convince him to do the most thrifty thing– which would be to take a lunch or come home–so I did the next best thing I could think of to help him save money. I made him his own coupon book that he could use for eating out at lunch.

What you might not know about me is that I am easily overwhelmed. I can host a wedding in my backyard or develop manner lessons for my children or paint every wall in my house, but please don’t ask me to bring a salad to a potluck dinner. The thought of going to the store and then chopping all the vegetables just might send me to bed.

Well, we have made it to the exciting conclusion of the Love Language series. I just had a few final thoughts I wanted to share with you.

We have made it to the last Love Language: GIFTS. This is probably the easiest one and yet it is no one in my family’s. Why can’t I just buy their love?

Now we are talking my love language- ACTS OF SERVICE. I actually feel bad about this. Many husbands could just buy roses or chocolates or a Nordstrom gift card for Valentine’s Day, but not my hubby. He spent 2 hours on Valentine’s Day hanging my “grand central station” to show me he loved me.
