7 UPs of Teaching

I haven’t been able to post as much lately because I have been UP to my eyeballs in Teacher Appreciation Week.  I am in charge of the week for the whole school and the assignment has tied UP all my extra time.

This year I am doing an UP theme.

It is shaping UP to be an awesome week and I will put it UP on my blog in detail after it is over.

But for now I thought I would just give you a little teaser of one of the many fun things I have UP my sleeve for our awesome teachers.   And the good news is, you don’t have to head UP Teacher Appreciation Week to benefit.

You could use the fun idea just for your kids’ teachers.

Get a bottle, can, or liter of 7-UP …

and attach this cute and meaningful tag:

Because I needed 85 of them, I printed this as a 4×6 picture at Costco.  I also printed an 8×10 to frame for a centerpiece at our “Bottoms UP” 7-UP bar.  I am sure you could also just print yours on paper from your home computer.

Thanks to my new best friend, Ashley, for stepping UP and designing this fun tag for our teachers! She picked UP where my talents droped off and did all the graphic design for the week.  It was wonderful to have some one that could help my ideas come to life. Thank you, Ashley!

  1. Very cute, thanks for sharing!! Would love to see more for teacher appreciation, I’m grasping at straws trying to figure out something to do for my daughter’s amazing Kindergarten teacher. It’s her first year of teaching and she’s so great with the kids 🙂

  2. Thanks Renee! I am not sure when I will be able to get all the UP activities up 🙂 It may be too late for this year, but you could use my ideas from last year. I did a “Best Teachers in the World” theme and we went to a different country each day. You could easily adapt this idea for your daughter’s teachers with different gift cards to different ethnic restaurants or small items like a fortune cookie or a lei or a candy bar. I had a free printable with that theme too. Check out links #2 and #3 in the “Related Posts” section right above your comment. Hope that helps.

  3. I find myself seriously dependent on your posts. My photo order has been sent off to Walgreens and now off to buy some 7 Up. I will be patiently awaiting your Mother’s Day ideas… 🙂 Thanks Tiff!

  4. Yeah! I’m glad you could use it. But don’t hold your breath for Mother’s Day; I don’t have anything in the works. My siblings are taking care of that one this year. On a good note, I do have an idea for Father’s Day I hope to post!

    1. Either way Tiff, we all are dependent on your post! and they come at with such great timing:)

    1. No 🙁 But now that I know someone could use the ideas I can pull a post together. I have all the pictures. Is next week too late?
